My mom pointed this question out to me, mainly because she probably thinks Andy and I are freaks. ;)
I'm going to list them off, and count as I go, since I'm actually not sure how many we have...
1) Andy's main desktop - Dell
2) Melissa's main desktop - Dell XPS
3) Andy's Mac laptop - Sassy!
4) Melissa's laptop - Thinkpad
5) Mom's desktop - Melissa's retired Dell
6) Mom's retired eMachine - hork
7) Andy's college laptop - O.L.D.
8) Melissa's 286 laptop - with Wordstar, and still in working condition. :D
Gosh, I really feel as though I'm missing some. We have parts all over the place, but I think that's all the PCs we have that are functional at the moment.
Amusing to think that we're looking for one or two more PCs to fill a void that we have, eh?

How many computers do you have in your house?

Andy and I went to watch the remaining Battlestar Galactica webisodes on SciFi, when we noticed a rather amusing ad in the sidebar. I have to hand it to Microsoft PR on this one. Too frackin' funny.
I've been sick with some type of sinus affliction since last Wednesday. No energy, massive sinus pressure, sneezing, and a sore throat. All I've done, pretty much, is slept and complained. I've been a ball to hang around, let me tell ya. ;)
Today I gathered enough energy together to take a shower. Alas, it felt stupendous. However, now I'm wiped out again. I think I'm nearing the end of my icky-ness, thankfully. Last night I actually heard some of the pressure in my head release. A little squeaking, and then POP! Let's hope it was the pressure in my head releasing, otherwise I may have bigger problems. ;)
Anyway, after my gloriously tiring shower, I came down to find an Amazon package on my desk. I immediately looked to my husband who said it could not be one of my birthday gifts because it was addressed to me, not him. I emphatically promised that I hadn't bought anything (*cough*my allowance is in the red*cough*). Utterly baffled I opened the box, and found a little message from my friend Brandy, and two gifts off my wishlist...
This song cracks me up every single time I hear it. We just bought the album.
Now I just need to memorize the lyrics...
Out of curiosity, am I the only one that sees a strong resemblance to Kevin Federline here?
After talking back and forth with another WoW player this morning, I remembered the idea I have been wanting to post!
I would like to see a screenshot of your WoW screen. People are so unique in how they set things up, where they position things, what addons they have close-by, and I love to peek into other people's computers... I thought this might be fun. :D
Tip: Use the Print Screen key to take your screenshot. Then, find your screenshot in your World of Warcraft directory on your computer. For example: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Screenshots.
Edit: Thanks to everyone for sharing their screenshots! I'm loving it!
I took a screenshot, but I don't really like it. It seemed way too plain, and then I realized why. I was not mid-raid. So, I'll have to take one... Gosh, Tuesday, I guess. Tonight we have Andy and my combined Birthday Party! (w00t - His is Sept 27th, mine is Oct 16th) Tomorrow is our guild's No Raids Day. Tuesday it is. :)
Yes... and no. ;)
I love some surprises. Like when my husband surprised me with an iPod Nano, after I'd been yearning for one. Totally out of the blue. (It is HARD to surprise me with gifts. I usually guess what they are long before they're opened.)
I hate other surprises. For example, people jumping out at me from behind a corner, or those stupid movies that circulate around online. An idyllic scene, with birds chirping and water flowing... then a big scary monster jumps out in front of the camera. Hate, hate, hate those.
Andy is super tuned in to what I do and don't like, and I can honestly say, I've only had good surprises in the last 4 years. :D

Night owl. Night owl. Night owl. I am so not a morning person, you just have no idea.
In the 5th grade, I went away to camp. One morning a friend was tapping me on the shoulder trying to rouse me for breakfast, when I'm told, I looked up at her, punched her, and went back to sleep. I don't remember any of it.
I usually feel like I hit my stride about 10 or 11 p.m. I can easily stay up until 4 or 5 a.m.
Should you ever need to get me up in the morning, I recommend not tapping me on the shoulder or shaking me gently, but rather, getting a dozen Krispy Kremes and wafting the smell under my nose. It's the only thing my husband and I have figured out that works.

Honestly? It was my mother's birthday card. I rocked on the initial design, but the interior left me feeling... it sucked. I rather hated it.
The last thing I made that I was proud of, however, was this little journal.
I got the book at Target, with a plain brown cover, and decoupaged old postage, maps, compasses and postcards onto it. I made myself do it fast, without much thought. I'm so much of a perfectionist (or so uptight), that I'm afraid I'll make mistakes, and I end up doing nothing. (This is why I have drawers and drawers full of crafty stuff, but almost no projects to show.) If I remember right, I set a time limit for myself of 10 minutes.
The only problem is, I like it so much, I don't want to use it.
